Sacred Heart College has a long and successful history in intercollegiate debating.

We currently run 7 teams:

  • Junior Certificate A
  • Junior Certificate B
  • Junior Certificate C
  • Junior Premier A
  • Senior Certificate
  • Senior Premier B
  • Senior Premier A

Students also participate in the annual O'Shea Shield Competition and Russell McVeagh Wellington Regional Debating Championships

All students are welcome to trial for a debating team. Trials are held early in Term 1.
