The music department at Sacred Heart College offers a wide ranging and varied programme of musical study and activity.  In addition to music in the curriculum there are many music groups and events for students to play and perform in.

• Liturgical Band
• Rock Band
• Prima Voce Choir

Performances and Events:

• Big Bang Concert- our premier show case concert which features performing groups as well as as small groups and solo items.
• NCEA Performance Soirées - these are held regularly throughout the year and feature performances for assessment Levels 1,2 and 3
• School Functions and liturgies. 
  
                     
   

Students also perform at The Big Sing, National Chamber Music Contest and Rockquest.
