Sacred Heart College Past Pupils Association:
On Sunday 3th July 2011 the Past Pupils celebrated the feast of The Sacred Heart with a 4.30pm Mass in the college chapel followed by the AGM where a centenial committee was formed. This was followed by a session of chocolate making.

Former Sacred Heart College pupil Rachel McCawe has earned the highest achievement possible as a youth member of New Zealand Scouting. Rachel will be presented with her Queen's Scout Award Certificate at Government House by the Governor-General and Chief Scout, Sir Anand Satyanand.
Former Sacred Heart College pupil Anthea Blackburn has been awarded a Fullbright-Ministry of Research, Science and Technology Graduate Award to study towards a PhD at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA.
Former Sacred Heart College pupil and multi-talented writer/actress Yael Gezentsvey's play Paper Scissors Rock is premiering in August at Bats Theatre. This comedic drama is about three sisters reuniting for their mother's 50th birthday and provides an insight into the unique dynamic between sisters. Yael, who plays a leading role as one of the sisters, is a graduate of Film and Theatre at Victoria University and the Performing & Screen Arts at Unitec Auckland.
Former Sacred Heart College pupil Rachel Driscoll and illustrator of children's books, illustrated Old Hu-Hu, the picture book that won the country's highest accolade in children's literature, the New Zealand Post Children's Book of the Year Award . Rachel was commended by the judging panel for creating one of new Zealand's ugliest insects into a heroic and loveable figure in the sensitively told story of the loss of a special friend. Old Hu-Hu was also judged the best Picture Book at the award ceremony.
