The Bowls Competition in Term 1 is for Senior and Junior players, no experience is required, we cater for everyone from beginner to experienced players.  College Sport Wellington have a bowls development officer who makes sure bowls is fun and friendly. The competition is played at the Massey Avenue Bowling Club in Woburn, which is a 10 minute walk from school. The first 2 weeks are have a go or practice sessions, a coach will show you the basics if you are new to bowls, while more experienced players can practice anf get ready for the weekly competition that starts in the third week. 

There are some new changes for 2023:

1.  Bowls is now played in a mixed competition. 
2. Players play in pairs (not triples) - so bring a friend if you want to!
3. Week 1 and 2 are practice or have a go sessions, the competition starts in week 3. 
4. At the completion of the pair competition each zone will select a 5-a-side team which will include the winning pair from that zone. The 5- a side teams will compete in a teams tournament on Thursday 6 April.

• Uniform: PE Uniform and sneakers. Players are encouraged to wear a Sacred Heart Cap, available from NZ uniforms.
