A calming mindfulness, breathing and stretch class before school. 

Sessions include a combination of Mindfulness basics and Yin Yoga, taught by an experienced yoga teacher. This class will interest anyone who needs a bit of me-time and who is interested in emotion regulation, mindfulness and stretching. These sessions are for students who want a relaxing start to the day. This is not difficult yoga and you do not need to be fit or flexible to attend, it's the perfect introduction.

The course runs for 6 weeks in Term 1 and sessions will be tailored to meet the needs of the group.

NOTE: There is a separate registration form for students who want to sign up for a more active Yoga class.

• Day: Wednesdays before School. 
• Course length: Starts Wednesday 22 February - for 6 weeks
• Times: 8.00am to 8.30am
• Venue(s): SHC Gym (Fit Pit Studio)
• What to wear: Comfortable clothes that you can move and stretch in 
• Equipment: Yoga mats and blocks provided
• Ability: No experience required, All welcome
• Fee: $5 Registration fee which covers all 6 sessions.
• Closing Date: 2 February 2022 (for registration and payment)

Commitment and Communication

When you register for a sport, you must be fully committed to the team and attend all sessions.  You are expected to tell your instructor if you are unable to attend a session so they are not waiting for you.
