About RUGBY Learn to play ( Term 1) 2023

Yr: 9, Yr: 10, Yr: 11, Yr: 12, Yr: 13
This is a 6 week learn to play programme for students who are novice Rugby players or who would like to learn how to play. Each week a series of stations will be set up where you can learn all the basic skills required to play the game. After this programme students will have the skills to move into the junior or senior Team.
We encourage students to play all forms of Rugby. We will have a Junior and a Senior Rugby Team in Term 2 and 3, and will enter the Rugby League 9's Tournament and also the Rugby Sevens tournaments.

- Times: from 3.30pm to 5.00pm
- Venue: Hutt Rec
- Uniform: PE Kit
- Ability: New and novice players
- Fee: FREE
- Closing Date: 2 February 2023 (for registration)
Commitment and Communication
When you join a sports team, you must be fully committed to the team and attend all trainings and games. You are expected to tell your coach/manager if you are unable to attend a session.
