The Bowls Competition in Term 1 is for Senior and Junior players, no experience is required, we cater for everyone from beginner to experienced players. College Sport Wellington have a bowls development officer who makes sure bowls is fun and friendly. 

Pre-season - Have a Go: 4pm Thursday 13 February 2025 at Hutt Bowling Club (you can walk from school). Come and have a go and try it out to see if you like it.

Details of the competition:

1.  Bowls is played in a mixed competition. 
2. Players play in pairs (not triples) - so bring a friend if you want to!

• Game Day: Thursdays - Term 1
• Dates: Starts 20 February
• Times: 4.00pm - 5.00pm
• Venue: Hutt Bowling Club, 6 Myrtle Street (students can walk from school)
• Uniform: PE Uniform and sneakers. Players are encouraged to wear a Sacred Heart Cap, available from NZ uniforms. 
• Equipment: None, bowls supplied
• Ability: All abilities welcome 
• Fee: $15
• Closing Date: 31 January 2025 (for registration and payment)

NOTE: Appropriate school behaviour and attendance standards are a requirement for a student to participate in extra-curricular activities.
