Back to School Update

Kia ora whānau

We are really looking forward to welcoming all students back at school on Monday 18 May.

Here is some key information:

Students

  • Students are to be in full winter uniform (summer uniform can be worn if winter is unavailable)
  • Uniform pickups will be on Tuesday 19 May by students before school, lunchtime and after school
  • Check your jewellery please
  • Bring your own device if possible
  • Students need to go directly to their tutor class by 8.45am – do not go to lockers
  • In their tutor room they need to follow the instructions from their tutor teacher regarding hand sanitising and seating
  • Tutor time will include key messages about our processes at school under Alert Level 2
  • The rest of the day will be as per their timetabled classes – week B
  • Practice good hygiene prior to arriving at school and bring your own hand sanitiser if you can.

Parents/caregivers

  • Drop offs and pickups of all students must be made outside the school premises
  • If you need to contact the school please do so via phone or email – visits to the school site in an emergency only
  • Buses will be running and you would have received an email yesterday about their processes and routes
  • Uniform pick ups will be on Tuesday 19 May by students only before school, lunchtime and after school
  • Please keep your student at home if they are unwell.

As we have done in Alert Level 3, you can be assured that in Alert Level 2 we will know who is at school, who our staff and students have been in close contact with, and take appropriate measures to keep everyone safe.

Stay well
Ngā mihi
