School is closed to Year 9 and Year 10 on Thursday
School will be closed for our Yr 9 and 10 students all day on Thursday, 3 December.
NCEA exams will run as usual on that day. Students will be allocated different rooms and they are to look on the whiteboard which will be located in the E6 corridor for their room.
Mrs Bell's funeral will be held at 1.30pm in the Performing Arts Centre at Sacred Heart College.
Ashley’s casket will be in the foyer from 12.30pm that day to allow people to write on it.
Most of our staff will be attending the funeral as individuals to pay their respects to a much loved colleague. It is not expected that they will be supervising students at this time.
Students are very welcome to attend the funeral if they like, but there is no obligation for this. If students do attend, then they are encouraged to wear school uniform and must be accompanied by an adult – this is very important so that they have the support they will need both during and after the funeral.
