Keep Calm and Catch Up Day - Tuesday 23 June 2020

Keep Calm and Catch Up Day

Kia ora whānau

In response to student pressures and anxieties at the moment, we have planned a Keep Calm and Catch Up Day on Tuesday 23 June 2020.

This is a day when students can utilise their time to get on top of assessments and work that is currently in process.

Details regarding the organisation of the day:

  • All staff will be working on site
  • No new work will be introduced to students – this is a catch up opportunity
  • Students and staff will be following their timetables (Tuesday times, week A)
  • Students can work from home – instructions about work that needs completion will be on Teams by 8.45am that morning
  • Students can come in to school:
    - Junior students who attend will be on site for the whole day 8.45am – 2.35pm (there is no peer support)
    - Senior students can come in for lessons they want/need to attend and any assessments
    - All students attending will be in full school uniform
     - All students in attendance will need to bring their own lunch
  • Any assessments that are scheduled for that day will still take place
  • All extra-curricular activities will run as planned, including itinerant music lessons, unless individuals or groups/teams decide to cancel or postpone
