Level 4 Update Friday 20 August 2021

Kia ora parents and caregivers

As you are now aware the country is remaining at lock down alert level 4 till Tuesday 24th August.

Online learning continues
For your student, this will not mean any change in the way that they are currently learning - they will continue learning online.

We have been very impressed with the manner in which most students have embraced and engaged with this type of learning - we know it is different and we know it is posing some challenges for you all.

Remember to be kind to yourself throughout this and set realistic expectations.

Access to school
If your student needs to get access the school to get things from their locker or classroom that are vital for their learning, they can on Monday 23rd as per the times below:

Year 139.30am-10.00am
Year 1210.00am–10.30am
Year 1110.30am-11.00am
Year 1011.00am-11.30am
Year 911.30am-12.00pm

Students must wear a face mask and come directly to the Lawson Foyer to sign in. Social distancing and hygiene practises must be adhered to.

Please do not come on to site if this is unnecessary.

If your student does not have a device, please be in contact with me [email protected] and we can organise pick up on Monday 23rd at the times in the table above. We are aware of a few students in this situation already.

Calendar activities
All items in next week’s calendar will be postponed and/or cancelled. We will inform you after Tuesday 24th announcement of any rescheduling that will happen.

Remember to look at the website for updates and to keep in contact with teachers via zoom, email, Teams etc.

Take care, be safe and be very kind.

Ngā mihi
