Fees:

Itinerant music lessons are free of charge.

A Music Tuition donation of $5 per instrument for the year is requested by the Performing Arts Department for students enrolled in Itinerant music lessons.  This donation contributes towards the cost of photocopying lesson material and the maintenance of instruments.

Terms:

1. There may be a wait list to learn Voice. Students taking Music as a subject option in years 11-13 are given priority.  
2. Students who are enrolled in Itinerant music lessons are expected to be a member of a music group at school. Groups include: String Orchestra, Jazz Combo, Concert Band, Te Rōpū Reo Manawa, Jazz/Funk Band and Barbershop Chorus and Quartets.
3. Students who are enrolled in Itinerant music lessons are expected to perform in one of the Itinerant Music Concerts during the year.
4. Students are required to complete an Absence Form every time they are absent from a lesson. Students may be removed from lessons if they have three unexplained absences in a term, refuse to practice regularly in their own time or their school attendance falls below 90%.  

Please only enrol for music lessons if you are committed to attending the lessons and practicing regularly in your own time.
